CHRISTIES BEACH FOOTBALL CLUB GOLDEN JUBILEE

 

On Wednesday 27th November 1963, a meeting was held at the Christies Beach Surf Lifesaving Club where the proposal to form a Christies Beach Football Club was put and was carried 17 votes to 3. Harold Seaman was elected the first President, Brian Berry the first Secretary, Robin Weatherald the first Treasurer, and E. Turner, R. Probert K. Castle, W. Wiltshire, M. Perry and B. Cannell elected to the committee.

 

1964 saw the first Christies Beach junior teams fielded and resulted in a premiership for the Junior Colts in that first season.

 

In 2014 we are celebrating 50 years as a club and all the successes that have occurred during those years.
